Holden Beach Vacations has always been known for its its high standard of cleanliness and now is adopting even stricter measures considering the current circumstances. Holden Beach Vacations’ highest priority is the health, safety and security of our guests as well as employees. We are closely monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and

World Health Organization’s statements regarding coronavirus (COVID-19) cases and following guidelines from these agencies and the local health departments:

Information for our guests

For your safety, we recommend that you consider bringing masks and gloves to use while accessing public areas along with businesses and common areas. For your convenience and continued social distancing practice we have the following online capabilities and payment options. Holden Beach Vacations front desk and lobby is currently closed to the public out of an abundance of caution to our guests and employees. However, you can call our office 910-842-6949 during office hours to have any and all of your questions or concerns addressed.

We take standards for hygiene and cleanliness very seriously and are taking additional steps to ensure the safety of our guests and employees. On a daily basis, we are working to ensure that we meet the latest guidance on hygiene and cleaning. Holden Beach Vacations health and safety measures are designed to address a broad spectrum of viruses, including COVID-19, and include everything from hand washing hygiene and cleaning product specifications to Rental Unit accommodations and common area cleaning procedures.

Associate Health, Safety and Knowledge

Holden Beach Vacations employees – and their own health, safety and knowledge – are essential to an effective cleaning program. Here are some ways we are supporting them:

• Hand Hygiene: Proper and frequent hand washing is vital to help combat the spread of viruses. Our teams are reminded that cleanliness starts with this simple act. It’s important for their health and that of our guests.

• Safety: All employees will wear gloves and a mask when entering guest rental accommodations or high interaction areas

• Ongoing Training: Training on housekeeping and hygiene protocols

Cleaning Products and Protocols:

Rental accommodations: 

Holden Beach Vacations uses cleaning and disinfecting protocols to clean rooms and surfaces after guests depart and before the next guest arrives, with particular attention paid to high-touch items and surfaces such as door knobs, appliance buttons, cabinet knobs, light switches, faucets and handles, commode handles, TV remotes, buttons on TV’s DVD players, etc. We open windows and doors to air the property out well, prior to the cleaning. Housekeeping will then begin sanitizing and preparing the property for the next guest’s arrival. In addition:

• Room keys are sanitized

• Property Amenities:  Certain amenities, pools, hot tubs and elevators which are offered in some homes, will also be cleaned and sanitized prior to guest arrival
