Private Pool-Hot Tub & Elevator Policy addition to Rental Lease Agreement

Holden Beach Vacations Lease Agreement Pool, Hot Tub, and Elevator Addendum. 

The staff of Holden Beach Vacations hopes you enjoy your vacation with us here at Holden Beach. The property you have selected to rent offers one or more of the following amenities:

*HOT TUB. This amenity is for the enjoyment of the ADULT guests of this property. This hot tub is cleaned and chemically serviced prior to your arrival and mid-week during weekly stays when the tubs chemistry and condition will be checked again. *The water temperature is set at 101º. Bromine tablets are used as the sanitizing agent. CAUTION: Hot water may be harmful to children, pregnant women, elderly and others with medical conditions. Duration of use should not exceed 15 minutes. Bromine reacts strongly with urine and chlorine. These reactions, suntan oils, soaps, bubbles, and other products may diminish the effectiveness of the sanitizing agent. Sand can cause severe damage to the tub’s pumps. All bathers should shower prior to use. The cover should be replaced and secured when not in use. Children under the age of 15 are not allowed in the hot tub. Rules of use are posted on the hot tub and should be reviewed with all quests upon arrival. Please see items #33 on the Rental Lease Agreement.

*SWIMMING POOL. This amenity is for the enjoyment of the guests of this property. Guests use the pool at their own risk. The pool is cleaned and chemically serviced prior to your arrival and mid-week during weekly stays when the tubs chemistry and condition will be checked again. *Chlorine is used as the sanitizing agent. To maintain the cleanliness and chemistry of the pool, all bathers should shower prior to using the pool. Children must be supervised at all times when in the pool area. NO DIVING is allowed.  Pool rules are posted near the pool and should be reviewed with all guests. Additional pool cleanings are available at a cost of $35. Pool is open April-October.

*HEATED POOL. Pools advertised as heated are heated to 80º from April through October. Select pools have solar pool covers that are used during cooler periods and should be placed on the pool when the pool is not in use. Failure to conserve energy by replacing the pool cover overnight will result in the heater being deactivated. Please see items #33 on the Rental Lease Agreement.

*ELEVATOR. This amenity is for the convenience and assistance of the guests of this property. This is not a toy and should not be used by unsupervised children. Unnecessary service calls will be at the expense of the guest. Service calls for the elevator are a minimum of $200.00.  Elevator procedures should be reviewed with all guests upon arrival. Please see items #24, #33 on the Rental Lease Agreement.

Damages to the above amenities due to abuse or misuse and any other condition which requires excessive service are the responsibility of the renter. All costs of this repair or service will be withheld from the security deposit. I, the registered guest of the property named on the Vacation Rental Lease Agreement, have read these policies and by signing I agree to the terms and conditions set forth herein.  I furthermore accept responsibility for all guests of this property during the time of my rental.
