Does your family enjoy fun runs and outdoor adventures at home? If you do, check out the Annual Turtle Trot 5K, just a short ferry ride on Bald Head Island on Saturday, April 19th. Hosted by the Bald Head Island Conservancy, your family can enjoy this family-friendly race that begins at 8:30 am. There will be different age brackets so the whole family can enjoy the fun.

Be sure to register early to guarantee a spot, snag the coveted Turtle Trot t-shirt, and earn your own sea turtle medal. What a perfect way to stay active, support the sea turtles, and create lasting memories.

Southport Easter Egg Hunt


Another great Easter event you and your family can join is the Southpoint Easter Egg Hunt. This event is on Saturday, April 12th, starting at 10:00 am at Franklin Square Park, so don’t forget your baskets. This family-fun event is perfect for the kids to hunt eggs with over 1,000 and candy that will be scattered around. Think of the fun the kids will have as you make new memories with this fun event.
